Romni Woools Return Policy
Returns are temporarily suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions.
We appreciate your patience and co-operation during this difficult time.
Once we can reopen to the public, Romni Wools will accept exchanges on unused yarn in original condition, and with proof of purchase (original receipt or order number).
We do not offer refunds, but we can provide a credit note for any returned yarn at our brick-and-mortar stores.
There is no time limit on exchanges, however at this time returns and exchanges are available in person only.
Please familiarize yourself with our store’s policy on purchases and exchanges.
We are doing everything we can to improve the way you shop with Romni on a constant basis, so please check this page before each purchase, as terms are subject to change. Please make sure you understand all of our terms before you commit to any purchase, either online or in store.
We are unable to issue refunds, except for online purchase of an item that is no longer available. While we recognize this is not ideal, it is a necessity for us as a small, independently run business.
We are able to EXCHANGE FOR STORE CREDIT any YARN (and ONLY YARN) that has not been used, and is in its original format (e.g., skeins are not wound into balls), providing it is in good condition (no obvious staining or smells, no signs of moth damage, etc.), as long as you are able to present your original receipt for purchases made in-store, or the packing slip or a digital copy of your purchase confirmation (with order number) for online purchases.
All Romni Wools merchandise that is NOT YARN is FINAL SALE — no refunds, no returns, no exchanges (with the exception of defective items, which may be replaced in kind based on manufacturer's warranty).
At this time, EXCHANGES FOR STORE CREDIT CAN ONLY BE DONE IN-STORE. We are working on a way to remedy this, but for now, this is a very important point. Upon your return of the yarn with the receipt or the packing slip, you will be issued a store credit that can be applied to any purchase.
There is no time-limit on exchanging purchased yarns for store credit, so even if you bought it ten years ago, we’ll still take it back! Just remember: we do need the original receipt/order number/proof of payment.
There is no expiry date on your store credit! As long as it is readable, it is still good! You can use it as soon as you return your old yarn, or keep it for a rainy day. (You can even give it to a friend, if you’re feeling SUPER generous.) Just make sure you have the original store credit itself, as we do not keep records of store credits issued at this time.
At this transitional point in our store’s history, we realize this looks like a lot of rules. If you need any clarification, please ask us! We are happy to help.
